Bond Hair Bar needed a Shopify site that perfectly matched their designer-made Figma and PSD files — but with a fully fluid layout that scaled proportionally on all screen sizes. This meant no fixed containers or standard breakpoints, requiring a custom development approach.

This wasn’t a drag-and-drop build. We created a fully custom theme using Shopify’s Liquid language and modern front-end techniques.
- We tap into a real-time weather API that detects hailstorms across Central Texas.
- Once a storm is confirmed, our system automatically generates a map outlining the exact strike zone.
Fluid Layout Strategy
Instead of fixed pixel dimensions, we used vh (viewport height) and vw (viewport width) units for all core styling — including:
- Fonts
- Spacing
- Margins & paddings
- Section scaling
This approach creates a fluid site experience that looks nearly identical on any screen size — from smartphones to ultra-wide monitors.
